Update

Postby GFreeman »

Hello everybody. I have just added a new posting window giving us some more flexibility to layout our posts. It works pretty neat. A nice touch you want to write articles or just a long post.. You can give it any font size, type, color and align your text and many more.. It also includes an automatic image resizer.. Any image posted here bigger then 1024px will get automatically resized.. Very neat that is.. You will be able to click on the resized image to see it in fullscreen. I thought it would be a nice touch. I'm still trying to get the newbot to work properly.. Still some issues with that, so it's currently disabled. Hope to get some more traffic going on here soon.. I have also changed the layout a little bit, hope you like it..

This line for instance is written using a different font type.. kinda cool :P

Keep up the good work GFreeman. Even with little traffic it sure is good to see some changes. I for one very much appreciate the effort you put in here. We need to get together one of these days on MSN and discuss some plans on putting this place to use. I still say we can make a small community if we play our cards right.

Nah, the sites not going anywhere, figuratively and literally. I see no reason to let it dies since there are still a diehard few that check in occasionally. I plan on some contests soon that will attract some traffic, we'll see what happens there.

That sounds like a great idea to me :good: I was more like thinking about making some sigs as well.. Shame sil isn't around much lol.. We could use oca sigs on other forums for instance.. Maybe doing something about google advertising will help too.. When you google something like "overclocking" we don't show up.. you have to know the combination of two words: overclocking and anonymous to be able to find us now lol.. Maybe we haven't picked the best domain name LOL!..

IF you come up with a better domain name or idea I am all ears. As I said, I believe we need to take a new direction anyways. There are plenty of PC only forums out there, what we need is something a bit different. I'd like to add some sections and delete many of the ones we have now. I am in the middle of testing 6 hard drives for Techgage, after that I want to get into this.

PS: I'd so much rather align our site with Techgage than OCA. Techgage has far more potential.

Discovered something cool about the posting window. If you want to write a large post you can make the post field bigger by using the + and - buttons on the upper left corner.
