Well hell, I blew my back out about 3 weeks ago and I come back to find that noone is posting/visiting any more. GFreeman set this place up as a courtesy and if it is truly time to let it die then so be it. GFreeman, drop me a PM when you get a chance and let me know how you feel about this. I think it has finally outlived it's usefulness unfortunately.

If anyone wants us to truly rescue this place from the dead, please let us know why and how you will help. Otherwise, the subscription will be allowed to expire as I don't see the point anymore.

I can throw in a few bucks if need be. I kinda like to see what some of the old schoolers are up to - when they post...For example:

I just got back into town. I got off work Monday, jumped in my truck and drove all through the night to get to Connecticut - about 750 miles. I woke my cousin Tuesday morning, went and got some food, then hooked up with a gf (yes, if Bill is wondering, she is still married - but not for long). Spent the day with her as well as family. My Uncle has gone to war with a neighbor and the hilarity is quite high. Good stuff.

My Aunt plants a couple of bushes on her property line...The neighbor, who is fairly new to the area, decides to add to his front garden, but he wants to do so on part of my Uncles property, so my Uncle tells him FU...The guy goes and gets some surveyors to come and measure and mark his property...It turns out the bushes my Aunt had planted were like 1" over the property line, so the guy threw a fit and had her move them...This only enraged my Uncle, who is easy to get wound up as it is. Well, as it sits now, he has marked the property and is planting mad amounts of bushes along the line between his house and the neighbors. He also built a fence just a few inches off the line. The neighbor freaked and told my Uncle he would get a lawyer and keep him from building the fence.

So the guy gets in his car and drives off...In the meantime my cousin is at Home Depot buying the prebuilt sections of fence, he gets to my Uncles and they build just about the whole fucking thing. Now my uncle wants to paint his side of the fence white, like a nice fence would be painted...But he wants to paint the backside a glow in the dark pink or yellow just so the neighbor will have something hideous to look at. This guy has already spent well over 1000$ on the matter while my Uncle has almost nothing invested but his time. My Uncle laughs a lot and says "Fuck" all the time when talking about his neighbor. I just laugh and nod because my Uncle is insane and this is all kinda funny.

All of that is still going on as it has just started within the last week or so, and I should add that my Uncle is a psycho when it comes to shit like this. There will be plenty of retaliation back and forth I am sure...

Anyway, as far as my situation goes, I am still living with my Mom. I am trying to save up enough money to move back to CT to be with my honey. She should have her own place by the end of September - if all goes well. Her divorce will soon follow. I need to find a job and a place to stay, which will suck. Starting over is never easy, and this is no exception. But, wtf can you do?

Anywho - that's my story. I hope the two of you that still check the forums here are well. If it is a money thing, like I said, I can toss in a few bones to keep this joint going. I like to see what you guys are into - when you do actually post something. Also, I get scared when NCC talks about his meat. Just sayin'...

as for me... well...

where ive worked for the past 6 years, there is 3 of us chefs, me being the full time assistant.
the part time assistant handed her knotice in and tells the head chef.
3 hours later we get a drunken phone call from the head chef ( 2 bottle wisky drunk) saying he is ill and will be having the week off...
next day he turns up with a sick note giving him 2 weeks off.
2 weeks later we get another one with 4 weeks off.
and last week we got one with 8 weeks.

so im working up to 65h a week on split shifts, and have only been home for 6 hours during the past 7 days.
and whats worse of all. the bank is eating all of the money im earning.... dammed bastards

Hiiya!! It's definitally been a while! Well I have been busy too. I have graduated and looking for work, took me a month got a new job the first job interview so that is pretty exciting. I got a new place in a new city Arnhem, moved quite some k's away from where I used to study, so it's a starting over thing making new contacts, but I see it as a challenge. I like to be some place new and different again. So I'm working as a application administrator for CRV. They've got a website at crv4all.com :) The job has quite some different aspects. Techical support, searching for info in databases, translate user wishes and demands in new system specs that need to be build, ofcourse administrating a lot of different systems and implementing and testing new systems that just been build :) It is quite diverse. Went out yesterday at my home town, so I am suffering a little hangover lmao! All and all I'm doing pretty well, live continues step by step for me. I seem lucky to have this job in this finacial hardship times.

Bill I do get the point lol.. Would be nice to keep the place up we'll see. This place needs some improvement and tweaking soon too lol.. As I look at it it isn't completely finished to me yet. Anyhow it's good to hear from ya'all. Silly how's ur silly bro lol!

Wow, sounds like you guys have been hit hard lately. I haven't been around at all lately... my obsession as of late has been guns when i haven't been spending time with my little lady I moved my girl back to college just last weekend, now that wasn't fun... so many damn stairs LOL. So with all my free time im at the range shooting or playing xbox.
